Everything was moving slowly. Your ears were ringing and your hearing was muffled. You were on the ground and you felt somebody grab your arm with force. You sensed immediate danger and stopped whoever grabbed you. You turned to them and you noticed Steve getting up. 

"(Name), are you okay?" Steve checked on you. You nodded, getting up as well. Pain radiated your body and you winced trying to get over it.

"What happened?" You asked, wiping your hands on your pants. Steve looked as confused as you. You whipped out your phone, dialing back up.

"We need back up on Main Street, there was an explosion. Several injured, hurry." 

You started walking toward the smoke and noticed a dark figure walking out of it. 

"Steve, I think we need to suit up." You noticed they were not slowing down. 

"Yeah, well we have no time for that." Steve began walking to the figure also. 

"Well, shit." You muttered and followed Steve. More men appeared beyond the smoke and Steve started taking care of them, knocking them out. You fought the pain that you felt throughout your body and fought the armed men. 

Several minutes later back up came and started fighting. During the fighting you noticed one of the men moving towards you all. Knocking one last guy, you were also walking to the peculiar figure. The smoke was too thick for you to see who it was. The only thing you knew is that they were only getting closer and everyone was kinda busy with their fights. This fight was yours.

It was then you saw long hair and a metal arm. Bucky. You froze, not processing what was going on anymore. You knew you couldn't fight him. It was only a matter of time before he already reached to you. He stopped a few feet away from you, a menacing expression evident. You haven't moved an inch since he appeared to you. Seconds passed feeling like minutes and you two stared into each others eyes. This moment was only short lived when he suddenly made a long strode to you and you felt his hands on your neck. His grip tightened by the second and you didn't do anything, you couldn't. You looked at his face one last time before your eyes closed shut.


His intimidating expressions wasn't what you wanted to see before you passed out. You wanted to see his realization that he is doing something wrong. At least pity. Not the determination of killing someone. Killing his loved one. 


"Bucky! Stop! It's okay. My cuts aren't that bad plus it was an accident." You soothed Bucky from his raging reaction to your story of how a guy bumped into you accidentally knocking you over to the ground.

"That doesn't excuse him from beating. No one hurts my girl." Bucky shook his head, glancing at your wounded knee. His eyes softened and he got up for supplies to clean up your cut. 

"Grip my arm, this is going to burn." He warned before pouring some alcohol on the wound. You winced, almost breaking his arm. After the clean up, he bandaged it up. 

"There you go, princess." He kissed your knee and sat next you. 

"If I ever find this guy, he will get his behind be-"

"Bucky." You warned. He sighed and leaned his head on your shoulder.

"I would never hurt you, (Name). I wouldn't ever have the strength to do so."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too."


You awoke to a burning sensation down your throat. Touching your neck, you immediately moaned in pain. You looked around your surroundings and it was a empty room. You then remembered what happened and you got on your feet in a split second. Before you can make it to the door, it opened hastily revealing the winter soldier. Your breath caught in your throat when you saw he had no mask on nor black around his eyes. He looks the same, your same Bucky. You wanted to reach for him, but he grabbed your arm dragging you back to where you were. You landed with a thud and he stood before you.

"Tell me who you are and don't think about escaping because I will kill you." He threatened you.

You wanted to cry out and tell him everything, but you know his brain is clouded with everything HYDRA gave him. There was no way he would believe you, at least you would hope he would.

"You didn't fight me back. You called me Bucky. Who are you?"

"Would you believe me if I told you I was your wife?"
