Fireworks (D.O x Reader)

"How about this one?" you smiled, pulling out a floral dress out for your friend to see. She put a hand on her chin, signifying she was thinking.

"Hmm..well it looks fine..if it's just a fireworks show." she chuckled. You frowned at her response, not getting much.

"Oh come on (Y/N), you'll look fine in whatever you wear. Kyungsoo isn't such a picky person, he's dating you for you, right?" she grinned.

"So cheesy." you giggled.

"Hey! I try my best." she gave a playful glare. You decided to get the dress, and just find whatever you got in your closet. Letting out a sigh, you dropped off your friend at her house, thanking her for coming out to shop with you. Later in the evening you and Kyungsoo are going to see a fireworks show. This was probably the third date you both have been to. You guys have dated for 3 months, wasn't too long. Him being busy and all, finally asked you out after knowing each for 3 years.

/time skip/

You checked the time, you were ready, just waiting for Kyungsoo to call you. Just then, your phone rang.

"Ah, hello?"

"Oh! (Y/N), this is Chanyeol I just wanted to let you know that Kyungsoo is on his way."

Chanyeol?

"And why is he not speaking to me?" you asked curiously.

"Right, that fool left his phone. He was quite wrecking the place getting ready. The things you do to him." he sighed. You covered your mouth, preventing a giggle.

You thanked him, and hung up. Putting your phone in your small purse, you heard your door bell ring. You quickly made your way to the door, smiling widely opening it. Before you was Kyungsoo holding a rose.

You blushed, taking it, before you closed and locked the door behind you

"T-thank you." you smiled . He gave you a teethy smile, before taking your hand in his.

"You know you left your phone at the dorms?" you giggled. His eyes went wide, but went back to normal, he just smiled. Shrugging he just side hugged you.

"Clumsy me, huh?" he chuckled.

"We're walking there?" you looked up at him. He nodded, "Yeah, it's just a few blocks away. Not enough to tire you for sure." he assured you. You understood, and nodded. You both chatted away while on your walk. Just as you guys got there, the fireworks were beginning. There was more people than you expected.

Kyungsoo put out the blanket you brought, and sat down. His eyes looked up at you, waiting for you to sit too. You sat next to him, letting out a sigh. You smiled at how beautiful the fireworks were.

"Beautiful, aren't they?" Kyungsoo asked, looking at you. You nodded, your gaze falling to his face. "And so are you." he put a hand on the side of you face. You blushed at the contact.

He leaned in and kissed your forehead, and then your lips. Wasn't too long, unfortunately. But it was enough to make you blush furiously. He chuckled at how red your cheeks were.

"You're so cute, you know." he put your hand in his, and sighed happily. He looked up at the fireworks, and smiled. You stared at him for a few more seconds before, you looked a the fireworks too.

It was such a happy moment for both of you.
